## 1. Medical Device Trade Shows in France (2025-2026)
In 2023, the French MedTech market generated an [estimated €32.5 billion in revenues](https://www.snitem.fr/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Snitem-Panorama-chiffre-des-DM-2023.pdf), including €10,6 billion in exports (+4.3% annual growth).
France is the second-largest market for medical devices in Europe, just after Germany.
Around 1,393 medtech businesses were identified in the same 2023. 93% of them were SMEs, accounting for almost 84,000 direct jobs, 100'000 if we include subcontractors.
International firms accounted for 25% of the businesses in France and two-thirds of revenues generated by the sector in 2021. Over 85% of businesses in the sector are of French or European origin.
